Notice of Joint Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 7:15 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building for the Town of Tazewell (“Town”), located at 211 Central Avenue, Tazewell, Virginia, the Tazewell Town Council and the Town of Tazewell Planning Commission will hold a Joint Public Hearing pursuant to Virginia Code ยงยง15.2-2006, and Town Charter Sec. 2-304, to provide the citizens of the Town an opportunity to be heard with respect to a proposal to vacate a section of Kingston Street which was depicted on the W.F. Harman Subdivision plat, but has never been maintained as a part of the Town municipal street system since the dedication of the subdivision. A copy of the plat depicting the proposed area of Kingston Street to be vacated is available for review and inspection during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at the Town of Tazewell Municipal Building, as referenced hereinabove.
