Notice is hereby given that JACKS BRANCH COAL COMPANY, PO BOX 150, CANNELTON, WV 25036 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV, 25601 for a Phase 1,2,3 release on Permit S004577 Increment numbers 1 and 2 for 4.75 acres and 368.77 acres respectfully.
Also notice is hereby given for Phase 1 release on Permit Number S004577 Increment Number 4 issued for 63.19 acres.
The permit is located in Cabin Creek District of Kanawha County and Valley District of Fayette County, 3.6 miles northeast (Direction) of Cannelton (Nearest PO) on Hughes Fork of Bells Creek (Primary Receiving Stream) of Twenty-mile Creek (Secondary Receiving Stream) of Gauley River (Major Drainage Basin).
JACKS BRANCH COAL COMPANY completed backfilling and regrading on 1/1/2011 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $13,400 for Increment 1 and $988,920.00 for increment 2 and 60 percent the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $171,520.00 for increment 4.
