Notice is hereby given that ROAD FORK DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC, P O BOX 460, , BRENTON, WV 24818 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 10.4 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U400208 to operate an underground coal mine in the Sewell seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributary of Upper Guyandotte and is located 1.9 miles,
West of Pineville in Center District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81°34 ‘18 “ and Latitude 37°34 ‘21” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
