Notice is hereby given that MABEN COAL LLC 250 WEST MAIN STREET, SUITE 1800, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 238.21 acres in order to add 37.19 acres of mineral removal and operational area to the existing S300519 permit in the Sewell seam of coal. The proposed operation is discharging into Tributaries of Allen Creek, Left Fork of Allen Creek, Right Fork of Cedar Creek, Unnamed Tributaries of/and Cedar Creek, and Unnamed Tributaries of/and Slab Fork of Guyandotte and is located 5.3 miles, northeast of Mullens in Slab Fork District of Raleigh & Wyoming County, Longitude 81 22 10 Latitude 37 38 43
