Notice is hereby given that PINNACLE MINING COMPANY, LLC, 302 SOUTH JEFFERSON STREET, ROANOKE, VA 24011 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 228.12 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O013883 to Operate a coal preparation plant in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Un-named Tributaries of Pinnacle Creek of Guyandotte River and Smith Branch of Pinnacle of the Guyandotte River and is located 2 miles, Southwest of PINEVILLE in CENTER District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81o 30’ 9” and Latitude 37o 32’ 53” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
