NEW BID OPENING DATE
The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, (WVSOM) 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV, on behalf of the Governing Board, is soliciting sealed Request for Bids (RFB) (WVSOM-19-B-013) from qualified vendors for WVSOM Reconstruction of the Campus Entrance Greenspace Project including the following:
A. The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents, and consists of the following:
a. Selective demolition of paving and other site construction.
b. Construction of new asphalt paved parking area.
c. Reconstruction of outdoor paved plaza and steps
d. Concrete paved walks.
e. Landscaping
f. Construction of brick monument base for digital signage
PROJECT DURATION = ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DAYS (180)
A MANDATORY Site Visit (Pre-Bid Meeting) will be scheduled at WVSOM Campus on July 16, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Quad Conference Room. All interested Bidders are required to be represented at this meeting. FAILURE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING SHALL RESULT IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE BIDDER’S BID. No one person may represent more than one Bidder. Additional information and requirements will be provided in the WVSOM RFB.
The Request for Bid (RFB) will be issued on or about July 16, 2019.

It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to determine their method of transmittal such that their bids will arrive in the Owner’s office prior to the scheduled bid opening. Bids received by the Owner after the scheduled opening will be left unopened. Fax and electronically transmitted Bids will not be acc-epted.
All Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and marked:

The bid will be opened publicly. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bids and in the bidding.
The Bidder is responsible for all costs incurred in responding to this solicitation.
