PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF RANSON
The Ranson City Council will hold a public hearing on December 1, 2025, at Ranson City Hall, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV, 25438. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on amendments to the Ranson Municipal Codes, Chapter 19a, § 3.5.5, Article 5 Table 13, 3.7.3.c and 5.9.3.a.i. All persons are invited to attend and make comments about the changes to the amendment. Upon recommendation and approval of the amendment by the Ranson City Council.
The proposed amendment is intended to revise the Ranson Code of Ordinance, Chapter 19a, to be consistent with the W. Va. Code, Chapter 8A.
Copies of the proposed amendment to the Ranson Municipal Code, Chapter 19a, are available for inspection during regular office hours 8:00. a.m. – 4:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays at City Hall. All persons are invited to attend and make comments about the proposed amendment. If you cannot attend but wish to comment, you may write to the following address prior to November 28, 2025, City of Ranson, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438 or email [email protected]. Written comments received prior to November 28, 2025, will be provided to the Planning Commission and inserted into the official record.
