Title 29, Series 1, Legislative Rule Governing Licensure of Speech-Pathology and Audiology has been filed with the WV Secretary of State’s Office and may be viewed at www.wvspeechandaudiology.com on the home page & www.sos.wv.gov under the Administrative Law/Search for Rules link. The proposed rule change adds “Initial License Fees Exemption for Low-Income, Military & Spouses, Veterans & Spouses as required by SB396 signed into law 03/25/2019 with an effective date of 06/06/2019.” “Continuing education will be changed from mandatory submission of 2 years of continuing education to a 15{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} random audit verification of continuing education.” Sections affected are 29-1-2, 29-1-3, 29-1-4, 29-1-5, 29-1-6, 29-1-7, 29-1-8, 29-1-10, 29-1-13.
