Jones, Cavalry Portfolio Services, LLC, State Tax Department, Compliance Division, AMU, Unknown Persons wners, and Corey Miller, Sheriff of Mason County, West Virginia (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the aforementioned respondents”), that a Petition for Condemnation Right of Entry has been filed in the Circuit Court of Mason County, West Virginia, and is known as Civil Action No. CC-26-2022-C-11, and styled Appalachian Power Company vs. Walter Warren Edwards Unknown Heirs, et al. Said Petition for Condemnation ight of Entry under the West Virginia laws of eminent domain seeks property for the construction of electrical transmission, distribution, and communication lines and appurtenant equipment and fixtures, and condemnation and right of entry on behalf of Appalachian Power Company situate in Robinson District, Mason County, West Virginia, identified as Tax Map 184, Parcel 15, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Mason County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 88, at page 145, and being more specifically bounded and described as follows: 44.69 ACRES MISSION RIDGE Being Lots Nos.4 and 6 in a partition of the Lewis Edwards estate, Lot No. 4, bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake corner in line of Lot No. 5, corner to Lot No. 3, thence with line of Lot No. 3, S. 76 1/4 E. 81 poles to a stake with oak pointers, corner to Lot No. 3 in line of land of Jacob Miller, thence with the Miller line S. 13 1/4 W. 30 poles 12 links to a beech stub corner in outline of the Fisher land, thence with a line of same and Rickard land N. 76 1/2 W.65 poles 16 links to pass corner of Lot No. 6, with line of same and same bearing in all 76 poles 16 links to pass corner of Lot No. 6, with line of same and same bearing in all 76 poles 16 links to a stake corner in outline of Lot No. 6, corner to Lot No. 5, thence with line of Lot No. 5, N. 5DEGREES E. 30 poles to the place of beginning, estimated to contain 14 acres 110 poles; the other tract being Lot No. 6 bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a stake sassafras pointers, corner in line of the Rickard land, thence with a line of land of W. W. Edwards N. 3DEGREES E. 48 poles 15 links to a stake corner to Lot No. 5, thence with a line same S. 72DEGREES E. 46 poles to a stake corner to lots 4 and 5, thence with line of Lot No. 4, S. 76 1/2 DEGREES E. 11 poles to a stake, corner in outline of the Rickard tract of land, thence with line of same S. 18 1/2 DEGREES W. 44 poles 16 links to a stake, thence with another line of the Rickard tract N. 74 1/2 DEGREES W. 43 poles 16 links to the place of beginning, estimated to contain 14 acres, more or less. The aforementioned respondents are hereby notified a copy of said Petition for Condemnation ight of Entry may be obtained from the Mason County Circuit Clerk’s office at 200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, 25550, for the purposes of appearing and defending. The Petition for Condemnation ight of Entry may also be obtained from the attorneys for Appalachian Power Company, Stephen F. The aforementioned respondents are further notified that a hearing on the said Petition for Condemnation ight of Entry will occur on April 18, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., in the Circuit Court of Mason County, West Virginia, located at 200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, 25550, before the Honorable Richard Tatterson. You may appear for hearing as stated above, and are notified that any failure to appear may result in the waiver of any defenses or claims, if any, you may have.
