REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SCHOOL SECURITY SERVICES The Mercer County Board of Education, Princeton, West Virginia, requests roposals from licensed security guard companies to provide unarmed guards for day and evening school security services at 10 local schools. The contract currently requires 20 full-time guards. Other duties may include providing guards for sporting events, special events and part-time work at some locations. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract with the Board and provide evidence of insurance coverage to the minimum limits required by the contract documents. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals for at least ninety days. Other requirements are detailed in the request for proposal package. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Seminar Center of Mercer County Technical Education Center, 1397 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740. Seminar Center located in rear off Old Bluefield Princeton Road.
