BCKP Regional Intergovernmental Council “Request for Qualifications” Financial Consultant The BCKP Regional Intergovernmental Council (RIC) in South Charleston, WV is requesting statements of qualifications from interested certified public accountant firms to act as a Financial Consultant, to provide bookkeeping, payroll, grants reporting, and financial statement preparation services for FY2023 with the option to renew for up to 4 years. Candidate must have GASB, supervisory, training, and audit experience. Prior knowledge of regional councils is preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience and be available on site as needed. Preferences will be given to individuals with a CGFM certification. 0Proposal report must be received in the RIC office (315 D Street, South Charleston, WV 25303) no later than 4:00 p.m., May 13, 2022. RIC is organized to function as a regional planning and development organization. RIC operates with a set of expenditure accounts involving a budget of approximately $1.3 million, which includes federal and local grants, indirect cost pool, fringe benefit cost pool, and a local expenditure accounts. Federal funds may exceed the $750,000 single audit threshold. The Council does not have any fiduciary or business type activities, and utilizes Grant Management Systems accounting software.
