NOTICE IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF CABELL COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA IN RE PETITION FOR ADOPTION OF ANJALINA TONI LYNN MERRITT, AN INFANT, BY SEAN CHARLES McPHERSON CIVIL ACTION NO. CK-6-2022-A-22 ORDER FILING PETITION FOR ADOPTION AND SETTING HEARING ON PETITION FOR ADOPTION On the 11th dayof March, 2022, came the Petitioner SEAN CHARLES McPHERSON, by counsel, and presented his petition for adoption of the minor child ANJALINA TONI LYNN MERRIIT, it appearing from the Petition that the location and address ofthe putative father TODD ANTHONY GIBBS is unknown. In accordance with the provisions of West Virginia Code Section 48-22-10I et seq, the Court orders that notice begiven and served upon all persons and entitled to notice of the petition, that the petition be served upon all unknown persons by publication, that in accordance with the provisions of West Virginia Code Section 48-22-101 et seq, a hearing thereon shall beheldon the petition foradoption by theCircuit CourtofCABELL COUNTY, West Virginia, the Honorable Judge Paul Ferrell presiding, which hearing shall be held on the 2nd day of August, 2022,at I0:30 AM O’clock,in the Judge’s Courtroom, CABELL COUNTY Courthouse, 750FIFTH AVE, HUNTINGTON WV 25701. In accordance with the provisions of West Virginia Code Section 48-22-101 et seq, subsection (b),each person orentity entitled t noticeof thepetition and service ofprocess including Todd Anthony Gibbs shall be informed that, the parental rights, if any, of such persons or entities, may be terminated in this proceeding. Such persons or entities may appear and defend any such rights within the required time after service of this notice and petition. Ifsuch personsor entities fail to respond within the required time after service of the petition and the notice and this order, such persons or entities may not appear in or receive further notice of the adoption proceedings. And further, it appearing that the petitioner Sean Charles McPherson is the spouse of the mother of the child and resides in the home with the mother Heather Rae McPherson and with thechild, no further home inspection is necessary. This notice shall be published pursuanbt to the provisions of West Virginia Code Section 48-22-602 and Section 59-3-2, as a Class II publication in Cabell County, West Virginia. C.
