LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS Regional Optical Communications, Inc. (ROC) is in the process of obtaining qualifications from consulting engineering firms interested in providing consulting services for a statewide broadband study. Services include but are not limited to, detailed planning and development of potential projects, identification of eligible areas, provide detailed cost estimates, partnership facilitation, data collection, meeting organization and attendance, and all other services as requested by ROC. Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G. All consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit detailed qualifications, including technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, and related prior experience. The object of the competitive process is to objectively select the firm that will provide the highest quality of service. Accordingly, technical qualifications and experience will be weighed heavily. Selected respondents will be interviewed and the firm judged most qualified will be selected. Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken through funding sources including but not limited to the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Grant Program and the Economic Development Administration (EDA).
