AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that K&N Contracting, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Temporary Regulation 13 Permit for aggregate processing equipment at the Wills Creek Borrow Site to provide crushed stone for the new Clendenin Elementary School construction. The facility is located on Wills Creek Road near Elkview in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 38.460564 and -81.492326. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: PM of 4.83 tons per year (tpy) of which 2.39 tpy is fugitive, PM10 of 1.93 tpy of which 0.80 tpy is fugitive, and PM2.5 of 0.31 tpy of which 0.10 tpy is fugitive. Startup of operations is planned to begin on or about August 15, 2022.
