R2300471 – Marshall University Drinko Library & Science Building Renovations – Cooling Towers Invitation to Bid Marshall University, on behalf of the Board of Governors, invites sealed bids for the removal and replacement of roof-mounted 3-cell cooling towers for the Drinko Library and the Science Building located on the Marshall University Campus in Huntington, WV The successful vendor will provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation. The project requires piping alterations, insulation, and electrical work. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for Mechanical Contractors at 10:00 a.m., LPT on August 17, 2022, via Teams Link at https:/ tinyurl.com oolingTowersMandatoryPre-Bid. Bidders must attend the pre-bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project. Should any Bidder fail to attend, their Bid will be disqualified. A non-mandatory site visit will be held on August 19, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., LPT. Bidders will meet at the front door of Drinko Library, 410 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington, WV. All technical questions must be submitted in writing to Angela White Negley via email at [email protected] by 9:00 a.m., LPT on August 23, 2022. Sealed bids shall be accepted until 3:00 p.m., LPT, on September 1, 2022. The bid opening will be broadcast via a Teams meeting at the following link: https:/tinyurl.com oolingTowersBidOpen. At that time bids will be opened, read aloud, and recorded in the Office of Purchasing, Room 125, Old Main Building, Marshall University Campus.
