NOTICE IMPLEMENTATION OF SEWER AND WATER SURCHARGE OF 2{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE NON-RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF MILTON Notice is hereby given that the City of Milton, a municipal corporation, will hold a hearing before the final vote on a proposed ordinance, the principal object of which is the implementation of a two per-cent surcharge on the sewer and water systems operated by the City of Milton. The title of the effected ordinances are Article 931, “An Ordinance Establishing and Fixing Rates, Fees and Charges of the Municipal Sewer Department of the City of Milton” and Article 937, “An Ordinance Establishing, Fixing Rates, Fees, and Charges of the Municipal Water Department of the City of Milton”. The surcharge amount being proposed is: 2{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} Surcharge for Customers Who Are Non-Residents of the Corporate City Limits The final vote on adoption of said proposed ordinances shall be held in the Council Chamber of the City of Milton, City Hall, 1139 Smith Street, Milton, West Virginia, on July 2, 2019, at six- forty-five (6:45) p.m. Interested persons may appear and be heard at such time with respect to thepassage of the proposed ordinance. At such hearing all objections and suggestions shall be heard and the Council will thereafter meet at 7:00 p.m. for its final reading and vote on the ordinance and shall take such action as it shall deem proper on the matter.
