RITCHIE COUNTY SCHOOLS School Facilities Sanitization for COVID-19 and Other Pathogens ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The Ritchie County Board of Education will receive separate sealed bids on services to conduct sanitization of five (5) schools for COVID-19 and other pathogens: Harrisville Elementary, Smithville Elementary, Creed Collins Elementary, Ritchie County Middle School, and Ritchie County High School. Description of Work to be Performed: Application of sanitizing agents to combat COVID-19 and other microorganisms and pathogens. Sanitization and disinfection of classrooms, common areas, entrances and exits, cafeterias, bathrooms, libraries, auditoriums, and athletic facilities. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Ritchie County Middle igh School, 201 Ritchie County School Road, Ellenboro, WV 26346 Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Attendance is mandatory for prime bidders only. Bids will be received in the offices of the Ritchie County Board of Education, 134 South Penn Avenue, Harrisville, WV 26362, until Thursday, September 15, 2022 11:00 a.m. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the owner within 7 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a corporate surety bond in a sum equal to at least the contract sum, and the cost of such bond shall be paid by the bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids.
