NOTICE OF DEMOLITION NOTICE is hereby given by the City of Charleston to each of the following individually listed owners that the subject dwellings located in the City of Charleston have been found to be unsafe, unsanitary, dangerous and r detrimental to the public safety or welfare as defined by W. Va. Code 8-12-16 and the State Building Code: Owner and Property Address 1. Jason Lee Haddox 1904 Iris Dr., C harleston, WV 25387 2. Andrew Marchio 4901 Kanawha Ave., Charleston, WV 25304 Pursuant to W. Va. Code 8-12-16, the Charleston Building Department, and r its agents, intend to enter the subject properties on October 6, 2022, or as soon thereafter as is practicable, for the purpose of demolishing the dwellings. Anyone with an ownership interest or legal right to control disposition of the subject properties or dwellings has a right to apply to the circuit court for a temporary injunction or other similar relief restraining demolition before October 6, 2022, or otherwise state their intent to take corrective action with respect to the subject property, addressed in writing to: Building Commissioner 915 Quarrier Street, Suite 5 Charleston, WV 25301-2607 If there is no response by the owner(s) in the time specified in this Notice, the Building Department shall proceed with demolition of the subject dwelling on October 6, 2022, or as soon thereafter as is practicable.
