ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PUTNAM PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT RT 817; OAKWOOD ESTATES & LANE WATERLINE UPGRADE PROJECT Sealed Bids for the construction of: RT 817; OAKWOOD ESTATES & CARLS LANE WATERLINE UPGRADE PROJECT Contract No. 1 – Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction of approximately 2,300 feet of 8-inch waterline, 6,720 feet of 6-inch waterline, 395 feet of directional drilling, valves, hydrants and other related appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by James Evers (General Manager) at the office of the Putnam PSD; 136 Carls Lane, Scott Depot WV 25560, until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 29, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be conducted at the Putnam PSD office at 10:30 a.m. on September 20, 2022. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: Putnam Public Service District 136 Carls Lane Scott Depot, WV 25560 Contractors Association of West Virginia 2114 Kanawha Blvd., East Charleston, West Virginia 25311 E. L. Robinson Engineering Co. 5088 Washington St., West Charleston, West Virginia 25313 Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the Issuing Office, E.L. Robinson Engineering Company, (304) 776-7473, upon payment of $200 for each set. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check must accompany all Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act. A Contractor’s License Number is to be included on the bid submission. The requirements stated in the advertisement for bids and the bid form may not be waived by any public entity.
