JOSEPH FLINT, Defendant The object of the above-titles action is to quiet title to real property and to appoint a Special Commissioner to determine ownership of the subject property and take all steps necessary to convey to Plaintiff title to the subject property located in the Teays Valley District of Hurricane, Putnam County, West Virginia, consisting of 2.889 acres and 6,570 square feet. The only persons having an ownership interest in the subject property are Plaintiff Wanda Payne Winship and Joseph Flint, the latter of whose whereabouts are unknown. It appearing by Affidavit filed in this action that Plaintiff has used due diligence to ascertain the whereabouts of Defendant Joseph Flint without effect, it is accordingly ordered that Joseph Flint serve upon Debra C. Price, Esq., of the Moye Law Firm whose address is 116 Prosperity Place, Cross Lanes, West Virginia 25313, an Answer or other defense to the Amended Complaint to Quiet Title, and that such Answer be filed on or before December 30, 2022. Otherwise, judgment by default will be taken against Joseph Flint at any time thereafter. A copy of said Amended complaint can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk’s Office.
