NOTICE OF FILING On May 16, 2019, Boone County Transfer, LLC filed an application for a Certificate of Need to operate two solid waste transfer stations in Boone County. One of the proposed stations is near Fosterville on Route 3 and the other proposed station is near Rock Creek on Route 119. Both stations were previously operated by the Boone County Commission. The application is on file with and available for public inspection at the Public Service Commission, 201 Brooks Street, Charleston. Boone County Transfer, LLC proposed the following rates: $84.73 per ton for both residential, municipal solid waste and commercial waste. Minimum charge $7.00 per load or $1.50 per bag. The rates include all landfill fees and assessments. Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or petition to intervene within thirty days following the date of this publication. Failure to timely protest or request to intervene may affect your right to protest this application. All protests or requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the protest or request to intervene.
