NOTICE OF TRUSTEE’S SALE Under authority of that certain Deed of Trust (Corrected) dated February 15, 2008 from Judith Strickland to E. Dennis White, Trustee, of record in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Kanawha County, West Virginia in Trust Deed Book No. 3549, at page 574, securing a promissory note in the principal amount of $96,910.44, payable to Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc., and default having been made under the promissory note secured by the aforesaid Deed of Trust and sale requested by Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc., the undersigned Substitute Trustee will offer for sale at the front door of the Kanawha County Courthouse in Charleston, West Virginia, on August 31, 2023 at 11:15 a.m., subject to all reservations, exceptions, easements and other matters which appear of record, and subject to all unpaid taxes, if any, the following described property, together with the improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging, situate in the Town of Handley, Cabin Creek District, Kanawha County, West Virginia, and more particularly bound and described as follows: Beginning at a point 75 feet southwesterly at right angles from the center line of eastbound main track of Kanawha Sub-division of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, and being in a fence line which bears S. 29-32’30” W. from the center line of westbound main track at station 89+56.9; thence S. 29-32’30″W. on fence line 141.5 feet to a point in Railway property line; thence N. 60-21’30” W. on property line 55 feet to a point in a fence line in the easterly line of a 20-foot street which bears N. 32-55′ E. toward said center line of westbound main track at station 89+97.7; thence N. 32-55′ E. on fence line and street line 135.54 feet to a point 75 feet from said center line of eastbound main track; thence S. 66-33’30” E. parallel with and 75 feet from said centerline of eastbound main track; 47.29 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.162 of an acre. Together with a certain Oakwood Mobile Home, Serial No. ROC721268NCAB. Being the same property conveyed from Stephen Lawrence Heck to Judith Strickland by Deed dated August 10, 2006, of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s office in Deed Book No. 2658, at page 37.
