ACCEPTING PROPOSALS The CMI2 invites proposals to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, materials, equipment supplies and transportation for the new Adaptive Experimentation Force (AEF) Command Center Facility. The project scope includes a new two-story commercial building. It will include 6 lodging units, meeting rooms, dining facility, and a secure facility. Sealed bids will be received by CMI2 until 4:00pm on Monday, October 16, 2023. The bids are to be delivered by email to Mills Group LLC, ATTN: Michael Mills, AIA at [email protected]. Please copy Julie Doerr ([email protected]) on all bid submissions. The bids will be opened privately at the discretion of the Owner. Plans and specifications will be available electronically via Dropbox. Contact Julie Doerr at Mills Group via email at [email protected] or via telephone at 304-296-1010 extension 201. A Prebid Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Project site (Front Gate address to the site is 2112 Leatherwood Road, Bickmore, WV 25019). ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY, FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE GENERAL CONTRACTORS; optional for interested subbidders and material suppliers. All bidders should attend Meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project conditions and other relevant information. After the review of the documents, written questions only will be addressed by addendum. The written questions must be submitted via email to Julie Doerr at [email protected] no later than 5:00pm on Friday, October 6, 2023 with response back to the contractors no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Any contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he he has a contractor’s license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia and subdivision in which the work is to be performed.
