WVR112194). The Cabell County Board of Education applied for coverage to operate and maintain a treatment and disposal system with best management practices for direct discharge of treated Stormwater into Fourpole Creek, a tributary of the Lower Ohio River. The draft application is for 18.50 acres of earth disturbance to create a new elementary school near Huntington, WV in Cabell County. The comment period for the draft application opened on June 28, 2023. A public meeting on the draft application will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Huntington High School, located at One Highlander Way, Huntington, WV 25701. The WVDEP will provide information, answer questions, and accept official comments.
