ADVERTISEMENT FOR EXPRESSIONS OF ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES The Cabell County Commission and CCEMS is accepting Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering and architectural consulting firms detailing the new CCEMS Station at 845 8th Ave., Huntington, WV. The Commission seeks professional services to explore the following: At its current stage, the proposed EMS Station may include two or more ambulance bays, two logistics areas, two sleeping quarters with bathrooms, a common area with a full kitchen, and parking areas on two sides of the structure with handicap accommodations. This is the development stage, and additional items could be added or some things could be excluded. Professional services sought may include but are not limited to: preliminary and general and design services, site renderings, surveying, permitting, preparation of construction plans and technical specifications, bidding and contracting assistance, including evaluation of bids, construction administration services, and construction observation services. Procurement of said services will be in accordance with Chapter SG-1-3 of the WV Code. Interested firms must submit five (5) copies of the requested information and a digital copy to the Cabell County Commission Office, 750 5th Ave, Ste. 300, Huntington, WV 25701, no later than October 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., in order to receive consideration. Faxed or electronically submitted proposals will not be accepted. The proposed project(s) may be undertaken with a variety of federal, state, and local funds. All work will be performed in accordance with the applicable regulations. CCEMS shall evaluate the statements of qualifications, performance data and other material submitted by interested firms and select a minimum of three firms that, in its opinion, are best qualified to perform the desired services. Interviews with each chosen firm will be conducted, which will include discussions regarding anticipated concepts and proposed methods of approach.
