ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV ROUTE 60 EAST WASTEWATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT The City of White Sulphur Springs is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Route 60 East Wastewater Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by Kathy Glover, Mayor – City of White Sulphur Springs at the office of the City of White Sulphur Springs; 589 West Main Street, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986 until 11:00 a.m. . local time on February 6, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project (Contract No. 1) includes the following Work: Contract No. 1 – Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 14,230 LF of 8-inch and smaller diameter gravity sewer, 51 sanitary manholes, and all other items and appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Contract Times for Contract: 240 calendar days to substantial completion and 270 calendar days to complete work ready for final payment. Contractor shall pay Owner $1,000 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. Bids shall be submitted on the furnished Bid forms. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The bids shall be submitted using the two (2) envelope system.
