NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FROM INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS Wayne County (County) seeks a qualified partner (Partner) to construct Phase I of the Wayne County Broadband Deployment Project, which will deploy 16.8 miles of middle-mile fiber along West Virginia State Route 152, stretching from Mountwest Community College to Wayne County’s 911 center. The project will also establish last-mile fiber-to-the-premises service in the underserved communities of Beech Fork, Beech Fork Marina, Lavalette, and Ardel. The selected ISP will individually be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the network and marketing and leasing services over the network once it is established and in operation. The selected ISP will not be eligible to respond to the Request for Qualifications for engineering services. Sources of funding for this project include, but may not be limited to, theAppalachian Region Commission (Project # PW-20436-IM).
