CHARLESTON- KANAWHA HOUSING REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ARCHITECTURAL f%] ENGINEERING SERVICES Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority of the City of Charleston, West Virginia, is soliciting proposals and interest from qualified firms such as architectural & engineering, for services in connection with general modernization work at all Charleston-Kanawha Housing developments and any other related modernization or construction services for a period of twenty-four months with a renewal option for an additional two year period. The scope of work shall include but is not necessarily limited to: extensive investigation, mapping, measuring and all other related preliminary work; preparation of construction specifications; drawings; detailed cost estimates; pre-bid and conference; bid evaluations and recommendations; construction evaluation and recommendations; pre-construction and plan review; construction observation, monitoring and complete inspection services; and close-out of all construction work. The selected firm should also have experience in the requirements for completing projects in a public housing and multifamily environment. Proposals must be received at Post Office Box 86, Charleston, West Virginia 25321 or hand delivered to the Administration Office located at 1525 Washington Street West, Charleston West Virginia 25387 no later than 4:00 pm, February 29, 2024. Proposals received after that date will not be accepted. Proposals will be evaluated and rated in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
