The Wayne County Solid Waste Authority is accepting proposals for the purchase of the following equipment; One new 7 x 14 dump trailer, heavy duty commercial model or equivalent. One new 8.5 X 18 deckover trailer, wood deck, 10K or equivalent. Vendors have the choice of submitting a proposal for one or both trailers. Specifications for the trailers are available upon request by contacting the Authority at 304-272-6706 or by email [email protected] In the proposal, the vendor must describe the trailer(s) including make, model, options, and all other available information. The selected vendor will provide and deliver the trailer(s) no later than 3 p.m. on February 29, 2024. Proposals will be evaluated by price, vendor specification, quality, suitability to requirements of the Authority, and terms of the proposal. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, to accept or reject any variance and to award or reject any contract. Proposals must be on company letterhead and include detailed specs and costs listed clearly with the signature of the company representative. Proposals must be plainly marked “Proposal for Trailer” and submitted to be received by 2 p.m. on February 8, 2024.
