REQUEST FOR BID Construction Services for Sanitary Board Office Renovations The Dunbar Sanitary Board (DSB) is accepting bids for the renovations of an existing empty office building. The existing building will require demolition of existing interior walls, kitchen and kitchen cabinets. Replacement of existing interior doors, some exterior windows, flooring, painting, drop ceiling.and installation of new kitchen cabinets with necessary plumbing modifiactions. Reconfigure the restroom to meet ADA specifications and any other necessary items to complete this project. All interested bidders shall be a licensed WV contractor that is fully insured and bonded. All bids shall have the following items included to be deemed valid: Valid WV contractors license Valid and current liability insurance limits Valid WV Bonding Bid amount and estimated time schedule Contractors interested in doing the work must schedule a site vist with Jennifer Hawes prior to bidding of the work. She can be reached at the number or email below. The Dunbar Sanitary Board has a drawing of proposed layout that may be obtained from her. Contractor selected to do work listed above will be required by the city to obtain a business license with the City of Dunbar and obtain a building permit for this project. Building permit is issued free of charge. Contractor is responsible for B&O taxes. All questions on bidding must be submitted one (1) week prior to bid deadline and will be answered within three (3) days before bid deadline. Any questions after the deadline will not be answered and it will be up to the vendor to determine. All bids must be in hand before 4:00 pm February 23rd, 2024, at, 208 12th St., Dunbar, West Virginia 25064. Post marks will not count. All bids must be in a sealed envelope with “DSB Remodel” on the outside of the envelope.
