Specifications: The following specifications are intended to describe the replacement of the shingled roof, facia, soffit, gutters, and down spout on the community building with an itemized list. Current Davis Beacon wage rates are required to be paid to all workers on this project. Scope of work for Community Building: Roof: The project shall consist of the removal and disposal of old shingles down to the roof deck. Repair or replace roof deck if needed. Provide a unit price per sq. ft. for replacement decking. Repair or replace all metal vent pipes, flashing boots shall be replaced above roof line with black colored boots. All drip white drip edge shall be replaced. Synthetic felt, leak barrier, starter shingles, dimensional shingles, OC roll exhaust vent, ridge cap shingles, flashing boots per manufacturer recommendations. Materials shall be manufactured by GAF. The color of the dimensional shingles shall be weathered wood with a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty. Facia and soffit: White aluminum facia and white vinyl vented soffit shall be installed. Repair of facia boards if needed. Gutters and down spout: Gutters and down spouts shall be 6″ white in color with no gutter guards. Gutters and down spouts shall be installed on the front of the community building. Disposal and cleanup of materials: Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of materials. The ground shall be cleaned of all screws, nails, and construction material. Any metal shall be left at a place designated by the purchaser. Prior to starting the project, the vendor shall notify the Assistant Chief, so arrangements are made for the use of the community building to the public.
