AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that GreenPower Manufacturing WV, Inc. dba GreenPower Motor Company, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Regulation 13 Permit to Construct for their bus and truck manufacturing facility located at 30 Industrial Way, South Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 38.359667 and -81.704806. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: VOC of 10.46 tons per year (tpy); PM of 23.21 tpy, including fugitive emissions of 0.12 tpy; PM10 of 11.63, tpy including fugitive emissions of 0.02 tpy; PM2.5 of 11.62 tpy, including fugitive emissions of 0.01 tpy; Dimethyl Phthalate of 0.05 tpy; Ethylbenzene of 0.19 tpy; Methanol of 0.78 tpy; Methyl Isobutyl Ketone of 0.03 tpy; Styrene of 0.43 tpy; Toluene of 0.49 tpy; Xylene of 0.41 tpy; 4,4 methylene diphenyl diisocyanate of 0.02; 4-Methylpentan-2-one of 0.44 tpy; lead of 0.000003 tpy; welding metal (Cr, Cr(VI), Co), Mn, Ni, Pb) HAPs of 0.07 tpy, and total hazardous air pollutants of 2.91 tpy. The facility is operational and initially started during 2022. The paint booth will be installed after permit issuance.
