INVITATION TO BID CFP WV15-PO17-501-22 & 501-23 The Housing Authority of the City of Point Pleasant will receive sealed bids on a Lump-Sum basis for one contract: ROOF REPLACEMENTS AT TU-ENDIE-WEI MANOR APARTMENTS, POINT PLEASANT, WEST VIRGINIA. Box 517, Point Pleasant, WV 25550, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (Section 3). The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by Section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
