PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA CHARLESTON CASE NO. 23-0910-E-CS-CN CPV SHAY, LLC Application of CPV Shay, LLC for Siting Certificate, Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, and Related Waivers and Approvals for a Wholesale Electric Generating Facility and a High-Voltage Electric Transmission Line in Doddridge County, West Virginia. NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT AND EVIDENTIARY HEARINGS On December 1, 2023, CPV Shay, LLC (Applicant), filed an application pursuant to W. Va. Code 24-2-11c to authorize the construction and operation of a wholesale electric generating facility and W. Va. Code 24-2-11a to authorize construction of a 500,000 volt high-voltage electric transmission line in Doddridge County, West Virginia, including all interconnection and ancillary facilities. The deadline for intervention of March 20, 2024, originally established by the Commission, is extended to April 3, 2024. The Commission will hold a public comment hearing in this matter on May 6, 2024, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The public comment hearing will be held virtually, allowing for interested persons to make a comment telephonically, through the Microsoft Teams application from the Internet, or in-person at the Commission headquarters. Interested persons intending to make a virtual public comment should register with the Commission by 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024. Registration may be made by any of the following methods: (1) through the Microsoft Teams meeting link located on the Commission’s website, http:/wvvw.osc.state.wv.us under the “PSC Hot Topics” section located at the top of the homepage; (2) by calling 304-340-0836 (Karen Hall) or 304-340-0820 (Andrew Gallagher); or (3) by emailing khallpsc.state.wv.us or [email protected].
