KANAWHA COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY COMMERCIAL SOLID WASTE FACILITY SITING PLAN CLASS I LEGAL AD The Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority will hold a public hearing concerning an amendment to the five-year update of the Commercial Solid Waste Facility Siting Plan. The hearing will take place at the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority’s office at 600 Slack Street, Charleston, WV 25301 at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The updated plan may be reviewed at the Kanawha County Public Library in Charleston, WV and all its branches located in Clendenin, Cross Lanes, Dunbar, Elkview (Elk Valley), Glasgow, Marmet, Nitro, Belle (Riverside), Sissonville and St. Albans, and the Kanawha County Clerk’s Office. Written comments will be accepted until Friday, May 31, 2024, and may be mailed to the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority at 600 Slack Street, Charleston, WV 25301 or emailed to: director@ kanawharecycles.org.
