REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Kanawha Public Service District is accepting Statements of Qualifications from qualified persons or firms to provide engineering services for projects planned to reestablish safe and reliable service to the areas of Winifrede, Coopers Hollow, and Little Creek in Kanawha County. The two vital components initially include (1) cleaning and video inspecting lines previously identified as being blocked or clogged to evaluate damage (2) design of new collection lines necessary to reestablish service to customers in these areas. Procurement of said services will be conducted in accordance with Chapter 5G-1-3 of the WV Code. Interested persons or firms must submit 3 copies of all requested information to Jacob Pack, Executive Director at: PO Box 8, Chelyan, WV 25035, or in person at the Kanawha PSD offices located at 14991 MacCorkle Ave., Cabin Creek, WV 25035. To be considered, complete submissions must be received by the PSD no later than 12:00 noon May 23, 2024. Proposals must include: 1. Experience of the firm with federal or state funded projects. 2. Experience in engineering design and construction management for projects of this type. 3. Qualifications of personnel directly involved in the project. 4. Related prior experience. 5. Primary location personnel directly involved in the project will be based. The selection committee will consist of three members to be appointed by the PSD’s Board.
