INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for Paving and installation of seal coat in the parking areas on the Putnam County Courthouse Campus, will be received in the office of the Putnam County Commission, second floor at 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV 25213 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 until 3:00 p.m. All complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during the meeting of the Putnam County Commission scheduled for 5:00 p.m. that day. All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. BiddingDocuments may be obtained upon request to: Silling Associates 405 Capitol Street, Upper Atrium Charleston, WV 25301 Phone 304.346.0565 The project involves installation of seal coat on existing asphalt parking areas, milling and overlay of existing parking areas and construction of new parking areas all within the County Courthouse campus. Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to: Rachel Driggs [email protected] and a Bid Package will be sent out in digital format. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are the responsibility of the bidders and are non-refundable. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall provide a copy of their WV Contractor’s license and include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2023 at 3:00pm in the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department (new building – 1st Floor Training Room) 236 Courthouse Drive, Winfield, WV 25213. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
