NOTICE OF CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF SOUTH CHARLESTON WHEREAS, South Charleston City Code Section 115.13 sets the regular sessions of City Council to be held at 7:30 pm on the first and third Thursday of each month, WHEREAS, the first Thursday of July 2024 will fall on the legal holiday of July 4th and July 5th is not a convenient day given the long holiday weekend. WHEREAS, South Charlston City Code 115.13 authorizes City Council to reschedule a meeting that falls on a legal holiday to a convenient date within two days of the Original meeting date, at the same hour. THEREFORE, the first regular meeting of the South Charleston City Council in July of 2024 shall be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, beginning at 7:30 pm in City Council Chambers.
