CITY OF NITRO REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) Managed IT Services, Video Surveillance Cameras, and Keyless Door Entry Management Issued: July 2, 2024 1. Introduction The City of Nitro is seeking qualified firms to provide managed IT services, video surveillance cameras, and keyless door entry management. This RFQ aims to select a firm or firms capable of delivering comprehensive, reliable, and secure solutions to enhance the City’s technological infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency. 2. Project Overview The City of Nitro requires a robust and scalable managed IT service, state-of-the-art video surveillance camera systems, and keyless door entry management to ensure the safety, security, and operational efficiency of its municipal buildings and public spaces. 3. Scope of Services 3.1 Managed IT Services Network management, monitoring, and support Data backup and disaster recovery Cybersecurity services IT infrastructure maintenance and upgrades Help desk support for city employees Software and hardware procurement and management 3.2 Video Surveillance Cameras Supply, installation and management of high-definition video surveillance cameras Integration with existing security systems Remote monitoring capabilities Maintenance and support services Training for City personnel on system operation 3.3 Keyless Door Entry Management Supply and installation of keyless door entry systems Integration with existing access control systems Remote access management capabilities Maintenance and support services Training for City personnel on system operation 4. Submission Requirements Interested firms must submit a statement of qualifications (SOQ) that includes the following: Company Profile: Overview of the company, including size, years in business, and relevant experience. Qualifications and Experience: Detailed description of the firm’s qualifications and experience in providing managed IT services, video surveillance systems, and keyless door entry management. Project Team: Resumes and roles of key personnel assigned to the project. References: Contact information for at least three (3) references from similar projects. Technical Approach: Description of the firm’s approach to delivering the services outlined in the Scope of Services. Financial Stability: Proof of the firm’s financial stability, such as financial statements or a letter from a financial institution. Insurance: Proof of required insurance coverage. Compliance: Statement of compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Cost Proposal: General fee structure and any additional costs. 5. Evaluation Criteria Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and Qualifications (30%): Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing the services outlined. Technical Approach (25%): Quality and feasibility of the proposed approach. Project Team (20%): Experience and qualifications of the project team. References (15%): Feedback from previous clients on similar projects. Financial Stability (10%): Firm’s financial capacity to complete the project. 6. Responses will be provided to all interested firms. 8. Terms and Conditions The City of Nitro reserves the right to reject any and all submissions. The City of Nitro reserves the right to negotiate with the selected firm(s) to modify the scope of services as needed. All costs incurred in the preparation and presentation of the SOQ are the responsibility of the submitting firm. 9.
