ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF WILLIAMSON WILLIAMSON, WEST VIRGINIA 5TH AVENUE STORM WATER PROJECT General Notice CITY OF WILLIAMASON is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 5th Avenue Storm Water Project Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Williamson City Hall located at 142 East 4th Avenue, Williamson, WV 25661 until Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. local time. The Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Council meeting which starts at 5:00 p.m. The Project includes the following Work: The Project will involve installation of 120 linear feet of 24-inch Corrugated Plastic Pipe (CPP), connections to the existing system at the rear West 5th Avenue drop inlet and to pipe that City installed, replacement of one manhole, abandon in place one manhole, bracing or replacement of the property owners stone wall during construction, pavement replacement, and concrete replacement. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 5th Avenue Storm Water Project Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $57,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 60 days. Pre-bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held On Thursday, July 24, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at 26 5th Avenue, Williamson, WV 25661.
