ADVERTISEMENT AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ARCHITECTURAL f%] ENGINEERING SERVICES Pursuant to W.Va. Code 5G-1-3, the Administrative Council for the Mid-Ohio Valley Technical Institute (MOVTI) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified design professions to provide architectural engineering services to include design and construction phase administration for roof replacement at the Mid-Ohio Valley Technical Institute. Qualified firms are invited to contact Ryan Haught, Director ([email protected] or 304-684-2464, ext. 3) to obtain a copy of the statement of qualification and submission requirements. Statements of qualification must be received no later than 3:30 p.m. local prevailing time on August 2, 2024, at the Mid-Ohio Valley Technical Institute, 2134 North Pleasants Highway, St. Marys, WV 26170. In accordance with the requirements of WV Code 5G-1-3, these statements will be evaluated, and the MOVTI will conduct discussions nterview with a maximum of three firms which are deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. The Administrative Council for Mid-Ohio Valley Technical Institute reserves the right to reject any and r all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed to be in its best interest in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-3. NOTICE On May 31, 2024, the Applicant, Waste Management of West Virginia, Inc., filed an application for a certificate of convenience and necessity to operate a transfer station in Kanawha County. Rates are proposed as follows: Municipal Solid Waste: $37.44 per ton, plus applicable Landfill charges and applicable taxes, fees, and assessments Recycling: $120.00 per ton, plus applicable Material Recycling Facility charges and taxes, fees, and assessments Minimum Charge: $11.58 for Municipal Solid Waste and $21.88 for Recycling, plus applicable taxes, fees, and assessments Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or petition to intervene within thirty days following the date of this publication.
