LEGAL AD The proposed project is the removal and replacement of a portion of the West Edge Warehouse roofing. The portion of the roof is a 39,000 sf area that will have existing roofing removed and replaced with new roofing. Additionally, selective demolition of existing gutters, vents, and siding is included. New metal siding to match the existing and minor masonry work to the existing building is included. Additional items include the addition of access ladders for ease of traversal, additional plumbing and rain leaders, and roof scuppers for drainage. Sitework includes additional rain leaders and drainage to tie to existing site drainage. The Owner will be occupying adjacent areas within the building and will be self-performing ongoing work concurrent with this scope. Final bids will be received by Coalfield Development until 5:00 pm, local prevailing time, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in accordance with the Notice to Bidders. (304) 342-1166 A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be administered by The Owner and is scheduled for: Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 2:00pm at the project site: West Edge Warehouse, 1040 Vernon Street, Huntington, WV 25704. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY, FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE SINGLE-PRIME CONTRACTORS; optional for interested sub-bidders and material suppliers. All bidders should attend Meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project conditions and other relevant information. Bidders shall specifically be made aware of Labor and Equal Opportunity Requirements. After the review of the documents and after the pre-bid meeting, only written questions will be addressed by addendum. The written questions must be submitted via email to Julie Doerr at [email protected] no later than 12:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024, with response back to the contractors no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024. A Bid bond executed by a surety company acceptable to Coalfield Development in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder’s entrance into a Contract, if given the award. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
