SOLICITATION OF BID FOR PAVING The City of Dunbar will be accepting bids for the milling and paving of the 1200 & 1300 blocks of Ohio avenue. The project will begin at the intersection of 14th street and Ohio avenue and run east for two blocks and end where Ohio avenue butts against the pedestrian walk plaza. Total length is approximately 915 linear feet. Approximate width is 34 feet Scope of Work: Mill 3 inches of existing blacktop or until concrete is exposed. Install 1 1/2 inches of base course for the full length of project Install 1 1/2 inches of wearing course for the length of the project Grade pavement around existing storm drains to facilitate proper drainage. Re-grind may be disposed of at Dunbar City Garage. Please break down the paving and milling into separate categories. The beginning and ending points will be marked with white paint and if further information is required you may contact the Building Inspector, Hugh Leishman at 304-766-0217 or by email at [email protected] Please submit all bids in a sealed envelope with “Ohio Avenue Paving” written on the outside of the envelope.
