L E G A L Notice is hereby given that on October 28, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Council of the City of Huntington, in Conference Room #5 of the Convention Center of the Marshall Health Network Arena, 1 Civic Center Drive, Huntington, WV, proposes to finally vote on the adoption of an ordinance, the subject matter of which is as follows: 2024-O-32 – ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DESIGN, ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF CERTAIN EXTENSIONS, ADDITIONS, BETTERMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EXISTING PUBLIC SEWERAGE SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON AND THE FINANCING OF THE COST THEREOF, NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED, THROUGH THE ISSUANCE BY THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON OF NOT MORE THAN $20,000,000 IN ORIGINAL AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SEWER REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2025 C (WEST VIRGINIA SRF PROGRAM); AND NOT MORE THAN $4,000,000 IN ORIGINAL AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SEWER REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2025 D (WEST VIRGINIA SRF PROGRAM/FORGIVABLE/GREEN) PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF AND SECURITY FOR THE REGISTERED OWNERS OF SUCH BONDS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SUCH BONDS; APPROVING A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT RELATING TO SUCH BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SUCH BONDS AND ADOPTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING THERETO Such ordinance is filed in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 135, City Hall, 800 5th Ave., Huntington, WV, where the same may be inspected by the public, and interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
