PUBLIC NOTICE The West Virginia Division of Forestry will be conducting a public tour at Cabwaylingo State Forest on Saturday, November 16, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. This tour will be to inform the public of plans for a timber harvest that will provide wildlife habitat diversity and increased forest growth potential to this part of the forest. The tour will be of the proposed Trail 74 Project, which is located in the Wiley Branch watershed, in the eastern portion of Cabwaylingo State Forest. We will meet at the Cabwaylingo State Forest office. The tour will involve a one half to one mile hike off trail over uneven ground in the woods. This is the opportunity for the public to learn about the project in order to provide meaningful input and comments.
