Thomas Memorial Hospital Association, Charleston Hospital, Inc., Unknown Persons/Owners, and Gary Linville, Sheriff of Lincoln County, West Virginia (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the aforementioned respondents”), that a Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry has been filed in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County, West Virginia, and is known as Civil Action No. CC-22-2024-C-77, and styled Appalachian Power Company v. Tabitha Guinn, et al. Said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry under the West Virginia laws of eminent domain seeks property for the construction of electrical transmission, distribution, and communication lines and appurtenant equipment and fixtures, and condemnation and right of entry on behalf of Appalachian Power Company situate in Washington District, Lincoln County, West Virginia, identified as Tax Map 13, Parcel 33.1, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Lincoln County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 22, at page 522, and being more specifically bounded and described as follows: COAL RIVER 0.86 ACRE 150X250 Situate in Washington District, Lincoln County, West Virginia, on the waters of Little Coal River, to-wit: BEING a tract of one hundred twenty (120) acres, more or less. The aforementioned respondents are hereby notified a copy of said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry may be obtained from the Lincoln County Circuit Clerk’s office at 8000 Court Avenue, Hamlin, West Virginia, 25523, for the purposes of appearing and defending. The Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry may also be obtained from the attorneys for Appalachian Power Company, Stephen F. The aforementioned respondents are further notified that a hearing on the said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry will occur on January 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County, West Virginia, located at 8000 Court Avenue, Hamlin, West Virginia, 25523, before the Honorable Jay M. Hoke. You may appear for hearing as stated above, and are notified that any failure to appear may result in the waiver of any defenses or claims, if any, you may have.
