Blake, Joyce K. Blake, XCL Midstream Operating, LLC, CNX Gas Company LLC, Unknown Persons/Owners, and William Helms, Jr., Sheriff of Marshall County, West Virginia (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the aforementioned respondents”), that a Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry has been filed in the Circuit Court of Marshall County, West Virginia, and is known as Civil Action No. CC-25-2025-C-5, and styled AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. v. James R. Blake, et al. Said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry under the West Virginia laws of eminent domain seeks property for the construction of electrical transmission, distribution, and communication lines and appurtenant equipment and fixtures, and condemnation and right of entry on behalf of AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. situate in Meade District, Marshall County, West Virginia, identified as Tax Map 8, Parcels 8 and 9, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Marshall County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 526, at page 177, and being more specifically bounded and described as follows: 49.86 A BOWMAN Situate in Meade District, Marshall County, West Virginia, and more particularly bounded and described as follows: FIRST: Beginning at a stake where a hickory stood, corner to Hubbs; thence South 3 1/4 West 170 poles to a chestnut stump, corner to John Chapman and others thence South 88 1/4 West 50 poles to two white walnuts, corner to John Blake; thence with Blake line North 45 1/2 East 45 poles to stone in bottom; thence North 7 1/4 West 75 poles to hickory; thence South 88 1/4 West 36 3/4 poles to stone, corner to Lot Number One (1) of the Luster Tract of the lands of Harman Williams, deceased; thence with lines of same North 7 1/2 East 47 1/2 poles to stone; thence continuing with same North 63 1/2 East 5 poles to stone in field near the garden; thence North 5 1/2 East 23 poles to stone in the orchard; thence North 27 East 16 poles to stone in Hubbs line near a spring; thence leaving the line of said Lot Number One (1) South 72 1/2 East 17 poles to a white oak stump; thence South 4 1/2 East 14 poles to stone near spring; thence South 37 East 38 3/4 poles to the beginning, containing 49 acres and 157 rods. The aforementioned respondents are further notified that a hearing on the said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry will occur on March 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., in the Circuit Court of Marshall County, West Virginia, located at 600 7th Street, Moundsville, West Virginia, 26041, before the Honorable Charles Richard Wilson. You may appear for hearing as stated above, and are notified that any failure to appear may result in the waiver of any defenses or claims, if any, you may have.
