KYOVA PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING WV 2/OH SR 7 Bridge Project The KYOVA Interstate Planning Commission (KYOVA) will hold a public informational meeting for the Ohio River Bridge Crossing Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study on March 18, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at 400 Third Avenue, Huntington, WV 25712. The official public comment period ends April 18, 2025. The public is invited to attend and provide comments on a proposed new bridge crossing of the Ohio River, northeast of the City of Huntington. The purpose of the project is to provide a cross-river system linkage connecting WV 2 to OH 7 with connections to major US highways and I-64 and provide improved access for economic development and growth in the region. The meeting will be an open house format, with a brief presentation at 5:15 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to ask for your input on the purpose and need of the study, present the screening methodology, preliminary findings, and gather information on potential impacts to the human and natural environment.
