SANITARY BOARD OF THE CITY OF CHARLESTON, WV, A MUNICIPAL UTILITY WWTP Asphalt Sealing and Striping March 2025 Sealed proposals for Asphalt Sealing and Striping, as shown and specified on the project documents for the Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, WV, a Municipal Utility (CSB) will be received at the CSB Office at 208 26th Street West, Charleston, WV 25387, until 10:00 a.m., E.S.T, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received later than the above time and date will be returned unopened to the bidder. No conditional bids will be accepted. This work consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision necessary to seal asphalt cracks approximately 6,500-lineal feet with hot rubber crack fill; seal coat approximately 200,000-square feet of existing pavement with 2 coats of Tarconite modified asphalt sealer; and approximately 2,750-lineal feet of striping. Upon issuance of a written Notice to Proceed, the Work shall be completed within 30-consecutive calendar days thereafter. All work must be performed after normal working hours (7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday). Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at: Charleston Sanitary Board 208 26th Street West Charleston, WV 25387 Attn.: Hunter Pritt Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the Form of Proposal, Non Collusion Affidavit, and Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit as well as all other necessary documents. Proposals must be made on the forms furnished by the CSB in the manner designated in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of Bidder followed by “WWTP Asphalt Sealing and Striping, to be opened 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., Wednesday, March 26, 2025” in the lower left-hand corner. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. The CSB reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and is not necessarily bound to accept the lowest bid, if said bid is contrary to the best interest of the CSB. The CSB reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding process. All prospective Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-bid Conference to be held at the CSB Office, 208 26th Street, West, Charleston, WV 25387, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:00 am., E.S.T.. Bids submitted by Bidders that did not attend the mandatory Pre-bid Conference will not be opened and will be returned non-responsive.
