NOTICE OF SALE To: Campbells Creek Church of The Nazarene Spring Fork Baptist Church Pilgrim Holiness Church of Spring Fork Methodist Church of Coal Fork Coal Fork Nazarene Church Putney Memorial Presbyterian Church NOTICE OF SALE Notice is hereby given to the congregation or members of Campbells Creek Church of The Nazarene, Spring Fork Baptist Church, Pilgrim Holiness Church of Spring Fork, Methodist Church of Coal Fork, Coal Fork Nazarene Church, and Putney Memorial Presbyterian Church that the following property is to be sold to Pastor Dana Clay on or following March 15, 2025: All the surface only of that certain tract or parcel of land containing nine and eighty-two hundredths (9.82) acres, situate in younger Hollow, Malden District, Kanawha County, West Virginia, more particularly bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a white walnut standing by a large rock in Little Younger Hollow and corner to Isaac Bolen survey; thence up said Little Youngers Hollow N. 35 W. 257 feet to a rock; thence N. 41 15′ W. 346.5 feet to a rock planted in the ground, corner to the Charles Clay survey and with line of same S. 82 30′ W. 891 feet to a stake on top of hill near William Leftwiches fence; thence S. 60 W. 386 feet to a black jack standing on top of hill in a gap near a road; thence S. 72 E. 455 feet to a stake near a double chestnut stump; thence S. 65 30′ E. 170 feet to a stake in a drain; thence with said drain S. 78 15′ E. 150 feet to a stake; thence S. 80 30′ E. 265 feet to a double buckeye; thence N. 72 E. 99 feet to a small buckeye in the edge of road; thence N. 85 E. 92.4 feet to a pile of rock in drain; thence S. 38 E. 263 feet to a rock, a corner to the said Bolen tract, and with said line N. 49 45′ E. 363 feet to the place of beginning, containing 12 acres, more or less, excepting therefrom one acre, more or less, previously conveyed by Effie Clay and C. E. Clay, her husband to Olcie Clay by deed dated the 19th day of February 19, 1937, recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Clay County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 438, at page 473; and a tract of 1.18 acres, more or less, conveyed by the aforesaid Clays to Margaret Lyle, by deed dated the 31st day of May, 1941, and recorded in the aforementioned Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 585, at page 136.
